The Amazing Acrocats Are Coming to Austin!

We’re honored to be the Acrocat’s local rescue partner when they perform in Austin! We have opportunities for 3 volunteers per show to join us and see the performance at no cost. Please email donna@streetcatrescue.org to sign up; solid commitments are needed.

About the Acrocats

The Acrocats are a troupe of former orphans, rescues and strays – all regular house cats – who have been trained for feats of agility and entertainment such as riding on skateboards, jumping through hoops and balancing on balls. The show finale is the only all-cat band in the world: Tuna and the Rock Cats. The Rock Cats play guitar, drums and piano and they are joined by the Jazz Cats on saxophone, trumpet and clarinet.

The Acrocats tour supports our friends at Rock Cat Rescue, a non-profit that promotes cat training with positive reinforcement and work with shelters to initiate click training programs. In addition, through the shows, Rock Cat Rescue has found homes for over 300 of their foster kittens.
